The Avon Grove Wildcats organization is proud to recognize all of our players who have continued to maintain their love and passion for the sport and earned the opportunity to play throughout high school, college, and the professional level.


Troy Reeder – University of Delaware/Los Angeles Rams



Troy played for the Wildcats from 2003 – 2007. He went on to play High School football at Salesianum in Wilmington, DE, where he was a 4-year starter. He accepted a full scholarship at Penn State and in 2015, his freshman year, he was 4th on the team with tackles. He transferred to University of Delaware his sophomore year and was a 3-year starter at LB from 2016-2018. He totaled 283 tackles, currently ranks 22nd all-time at U of Delaware in total tackles, and earned First-Team All-CAA honors all three years as a Blue Hen. In 2018, he earned All-American accolades after recording 131 tackles on the year, the fifth-most in a single-season ever by a Blue Hen player. He was named a finalist for the Buck Buchanan Award, given to FCS' top defensive player. He was an undrafted free agenda signing for the LA Rams in 2019.  He saw action in all 32 games his first two seasons including a 3-sack game vs the Washington Football Team in 2020 and five games in 2020 with ten or more tackles in one game.


Colby Reeder – University of Delaware



Colby played for the Wildcats from 2003 – 2007. He went on to play High School football at Salesianum in Wilmington, DE, where he was a 3-year starter. He accepted a full scholarship at the University of Delaware in 2016. He has started 3 seasons at LB. He was named the ECAC All-East Defensive Rookie of the Year and CAA Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2017.  His sophomore season he totaled 51 tackles with 20 solo stops, 4.0 tackles for loss and a sack. He led his team to the FCS semi-finals in the 2021 spring season. (2020 no season do to COVID). Colby is heading into his senior season in the 2021 fall season.


Kyle Kush – Shippensburg University




Kyle played for the Wildcats from 1999 – 2004. He went on to play High School football at Avon Grove High School, where he was a three year letter winner. He played both quarterback and defensive back for Avon Grove, and was part of AG High School historical season in 2009 winning the Ches-Mont Conference Championship, with a 11-2 record, advancing the state 6A quarter finals. He was named an All-Ches-Mont Conference selection as a defensive back his senior season. He went on to play college football at Shippensburg University and played WR.


Brandon Monk – West Chester University




Brandon played for the Wildcats from 2001 – 2006. He went on to play High School football at Avon Grove High School, where he was a three-year letter winner. He played running back for Avon Grove, and was part of AG High School historical season in 2009 winning the Ches-Mont Conference Championship, with a 11-2 record, advancing the state 6A quarter finals. He was named to first team All-Ches-Mont Conference selection as a running back his junior & senior seasons rushing for 1,152 & 1,456 respectively. He went on to play college football at West Chester University and played RB, where he was a 4-year letter winner. He rushed for over 2,500 career rushing yards, 400 career receiving yards and 21 TDs at West Chester.
