Thank you for your interest in being a part of our Avon Grove Wildcats Cheerleading family! First and foremost, we want our cheerleaders to understand that teamwork is the key to the success of their squad. They are asked to be dedicated to promoting spirit, enthusiasm, and a positive winning attitude. League Information 
The Wildcats are part of the Independent Youth Football League (IYFL). The League consists of 15 Organizations, forming 3 divisions (East, Central and West). Each team will play 8 regular season games (typically 4 home and 4 away), and there will be 3 playoff games. Flag will not participate in playoffs.

2024 Season 
Cheer practices are planned to start the week of August 5th , and the first games will be the Saturday/Sunday AFTER Labor Day.

• There are eight (8) games in the regular season followed by three (3) playoff games for Varsity level teams. 7U and JV teams may have postseason opportunities, to be determined by IYFL.
• Most games will be played on Saturday; however, there may be a Friday night or Sunday game depending on opponent.
• No prior experience needed
• Practice begins Monday, August 5th and regular season ends in October
• League Age determination - Player's age On or Before July 31 of the season
  
• Scholarships are available for families in financial need
