Team Manager Information
Each year a team manager (mom or dad) is recruited for each football team and cheer squad once the teams are formed. The primary duties of manager include:
-
Coordination of the following:
-
Home game volunteer schedules
-
Half-time snacks – orange slices, grapes, etc. (football only, home and away games)
-
Trash and bathroom pick-up after game. Empty trash cans, put in new trash bags, pick up trash on both sidelines. Inspect bathroom for cleanliness
-

-
Parking. Direct overflow parking to church lot
-

-
Provide medical personnel volunteers. We need to have a medical person available during all home games to assist with any medical issues on the field.
-
Assist with Homecoming Activities
-
Coordinate parent participation of Homecoming Basket. Each team/squad assembles a themed basket. During homecoming, raffle tickets are sold for each basket and the winner is chosen after the last game on Sunday. You do not need to be present to win.
-
Solicit volunteers for homecoming festivities which can include: selling 50/50 raffle tickets, making baked goods, obtaining flowers, tents, balloons, making banners and pins, etc.
-
Coordinate end-of-season celebration including collection for coaching staff gift (usually $5 - $10).
None of this would be possible without the time and support offered by the parents. Your role is important, not only to support your child, but also the Wildcats organization.
