Player Contract

These are the by-laws of this organization.  By signing this contract, you agree to abide by all the rules.  In the interest of fair play and sportsmanship, all participants pledge good conduct during all contests in which the club is engaged.

The Avon Grove Wildcats Youth Football/Cheerleading Club, hereinafter referred to as "AGW", is an outdoor, winter traveling sport.  Attendance is required at all scheduled games, home and away.  We participate in the Bert Bell League.  Our opponents include Downingtown, Norchester, Prospect Park, Darby Township and Rose Tree to name a few.  Some of the games can be a considerable distance.  Transportation is the parent/guardian responsibility.  (_____) initials

"If the football players play, the cheerleaders cheer."

I agree to play for AGW and to abide by all the rules.  In the interest of fair play and sportsmanship, I will pledge good conduct during all contests in which the club is engaged.  (_____) initials

I understand that all Football/Cheerleader equipment issued to me is the property of AGW and will be returned to AGW at the conclusion of the season or at such time may be requested by the coach or other club official.  (_____) initials

The Parent and/or Guardian of Player/Cheerleader participating in the AGW and in consideration of such participation and intending to be legally bound hereby, said Parent and/or Guardian acknowledges that Player/Cheerleader will participate in the league and all games and practices incident thereto and be using said facilities at his/her own risk and said Parent and/or Guardian of Player/Cheerleader on his/her own behalf hereby releases, discharges and indemnifies AGW and its successors, property of himself and Players/Cheerleaders.  This release and indemnification shall bind Parent and/or Guardian, their spouse, heirs and legal representative.  (_____) initials
